Principal’s Message

Dear Keene's Crossing Families,

Welcome to another great year at Keene's Crossing Elementary! Whether you are a returning Cougar family or joining us for the first time, we are excited to have you as part of our school community.

At Keene's Crossing, we believe that every child can learn, grow, and succeed when schools and families work together. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students are challenged academically, encouraged to do their best, and celebrated for their accomplishments.

This year, we will continue our focus on strong instruction, meaningful relationships, and ensuring every student receives the support and enrichment they need to reach their full potential. Through our theme, TEAM KCE – Stronger Together, we are committed to working alongside our families to help every child thrive.

You can support your child's success by:

  • Stay Connected: Read school and classroom communications, check ParentSquare regularly, and visit our school website for important updates and information.
  • Read Every Day: Just 20 minutes of reading at home each day helps build strong literacy skills and fosters a love of learning.
  • Get Involved: Attend school events, volunteer when possible, and join our PTO. Your involvement makes a difference.
  • Establish Healthy Routines: Consistent sleep schedules, nutritious meals, and daily attendance help students do their best.
  • Make Attendance a Priority: Being at school every day and arriving on time helps students stay connected to learning and achieve academic success.

Thank you for trusting us with your child's education. We look forward to partnering with you to make this a year filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences. Together, we will continue building a school community where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to succeed.

TEAM KCE – Stronger Together!
